Show your support and join the rally on Knowsley street at 11am !

On 10th July, public sector unions are calling one of the biggest day of industrial action we've seen for years, possibly decades.

The strike is ostensibly over the government's 1% public sector pay cap which has seen some public sector workers having to resort to food banks in Bury and across the country.

It is also a protest against the Coalition government and the opposition's continued austerity policies.

As the only mainstream political party which opposes the unfair and uncessary cuts in Council budgets  (40% by 2015 for Bury)  and supports the right of workers to strike, we call on members of the public to show their solidarity with Bury Public sector hard working workers' and join them on Thursday 10th July.

The Rally is due to start at 11am outside Unison's office on Knowsley street.
