Unlike other political parties, the Green Party does not have billionaire donors, take dirty money from big businesses or is beholden to the whims of media barons. This means that we have to ask our supporters and party members to contribute what they can.
We are mindful that the cost of living, energy bills and other necessities are making life very difficult for many just now.
We are grateful for any donations, as this will help us with the practicalities of campaigning in Bury – for example, with newsletter printing costs. When the next General Election is called, it will cost a £1000 (£500 deposit each), to stand two candidates in North and South Bury. And that’s without doing any other campaigning. So it could be your donation that gets us over the line!
